GLO Contract #24-065-084-E760
This is to give notice that the City of Seadrift (City) has determined that the following proposed action under the Texas General Land Office Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) Program, GLO Contract #24-065-084-E760, known as Water Improvements for the purpose of providing greater storage capacity for the water system, enhancing firefighting capacity and the ability to meet high domestic demands, is located in the 500-Year Floodplain and the City will be identifying and evaluating practicable alternatives to locating the action in the floodplain and the potential impacts on the floodplain from the proposed action, as required by Executive Order 11988 in accordance with HUD regulations at 24 CFR 55.20 Subpart C Procedures for Making Determinations on Floodplain Management.
Project Description: Subrecipient shall install an elevated storage tank, booster pump, and controls; connect water line; and complete associated appurtenances.

(CDBG-MIT) Method of Distribution (MOD) contract under the Texas General Land Office (GLO). The City will comply with the Civil Rights requirements of Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act and the Fair Housing Law and ensure that equal opportunities are afforded to all persons and that no person shall be excluded or denied program benefits on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, and national origin.
