If you would like additional totes, please fill out the Additional Tote Form and return to City Hall. An additional tote fee will be added on the Utility Bill each month.
Pickup Schedule
The City of Seadrift is divided into 3 routes for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Bulky Items and Special Pickups
If you would like to schedule a Bulky Item or Special Pickup, please contact the Solid Waste Department at (361) 785-2218 or visit us a City Hall.
Payment must be received before it can be scheduled for pickup.
Brush site
Solid Waste Brush Drop-Off
The Seadrift Solid Waste Department will now have the Brush Site on Gates Road open to all residents of the City of Seadrift. Operating days and hours will be on Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
A drop-off ticket must be purchased at City Hall before traveling to the brush site. Brush drop-off is prohibited when there is no attendant presents and on days the area is closed.
- Purchase drop-off ticket at City Hall any day during regular hours (M-F, 8 AM to 5 PM),
- Take brush to location on FRIDAY and present copy to attendant (you will receive two copies of the drop-off ticket at City Hall, one must be given to the attendant at brush site),
- Attendant will inspect load for unacceptable materials before dumping is allowed.
PRICES/FEES
- Truck load (up to 8' bed) = $15.00 per trip
- Truck load (9' to 10' bed) = $20.00 per trip
- Trailer (up to 10') = $20.00 per trip
- Trailer (up to 11' to 16') = $30 per trip
- Trailer (larger than 16') = $45.00 per trip
